DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH FOR EMPLOYMENT 2023
Applications are invited for the above English Diploma (Extension) Course commencing from May 2023. The course is specially designed to provide an advanced knowledge in English for the employees both in government and private sector organizations/institutions, to promote their career prospects and to help the unemployed to improve their employment prospects (Priority will be given to the employees of public and private sector organizations).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Passing the G.C.E (O/L) examination at least with a simple pass for English.
- Obtaining the required score at the selection test.
AGE LIMIT : 18-55 Years
COURSE DURATION : One year (Saturdays from 08.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m.)
COURSE FEE : Rs.40,000/= (Payable at the registration)
VENUE : Kuliyapitiya Premises, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka
APPLICATION FORMS AND PARTICULARS:
The application form can be downloaded from the university website http://www.wyb.ac.lk. A sum of Rs.300/- should be paid in favour of the Collection Account No: 028100151586123 of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka to any branch of the People's Bank and when the application is sent the bank payment receipt should be attached. Applications without the bank payment receipt will not be accepted (Cheques will not be accepted).
SUBMISSION OF PERFECTED APPLICATIONS:
Duly perfected applications along with a self-addressed stamped (worth Rs.110/-) 23cm x 10cm envelope should be sent under registered cover to reach the Course Director, Diploma in English, Department of English Language Teaching, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Kuliyapitiya, on or before the 10.04.2023.
