Applications will be entertained from among Senior Professors, Professors, Associate Professors and Senior Lecturer Grade I for the above Post. In the absence of a suitable candidate from the above grades, a Senior Lecturer Grade II will be considered. Therefore, applications will be entertained from Senior Lecturers Grade II as well.
• The Centre for International Affairs (CINTA) is under the purview of the Vice Chancellor.
• The successful applicant will be responsible for liaising with the international visitors and coordinating activities between relevant Heads of Departments and academic advisors and foreign students, visiting professors and any other foreign visitors to the university for academic and research purposes. It will also be the duty of the Director to develop new links with academic institution and increase the image internationally of the University of Ruhuna. Further the Director is responsible for changing Managerial committee of the CINTA and liaise with Vice Chancellor of University of Ruhuna.
• This post is tenable for a period of 3 years and the Director will be paid an extra allowance of Rs. 4000/- as a monthly honorarium.
