Counsellor (On Contract)

The Dept. of Psychology & Counselling of the Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking for an experienced Counsellor/Psychologist to join their Counselling Unit. This role will involve providing caring and professional counselling services confidentially to both students and staff of the University 

Qualifications

A Postgraduate Diploma ( or higher qualification) in Counselling from a recognized institution 

•!• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Counsellor in a similar background 

•!• Should be a person with good professional conduct adhering to ethicalstandards 

of the discipline 

•!• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

•!• Should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in interpersonal

relationships 

•!• Administrative and !CT skills are required 

A walk-in interview will be held at the Faculty Board Room, Faculty of Health Sciences The Open University of Sri Lanka, Nawala, Nugegoda on, Tuesday 21st June 2022 at 1.30 p.m.
